I am a newbie to the web, however I have been working on my first website. It is finally at a stage where it is ready for review and I am hoping that people might be able to take the time to have a look at it and let me know what they think.

you should remove the tables from all pages of your site,please clean your site so user can easily navigate your site.

 

your site looks nice if you add a better header (maybe with a race related picture) it may be better

The more i seem to learn about IM, the more i realise how little I know. At this stage of my website, what do you think i should be focusing on to build exposure? Backlinks, articles, press releases?

 

I love the simple clean design! Maybe add a thin 1 or 2 pixel dark grey (darker than your background color) around the whole layout

I have made a number of improvements over the last week and I am still trying to work out ways in which i can do more for advertisers.

Not bad, play around with font sizes to increase impact

Most of the things in your top navigation bar are usually found in the footer of pages (T&C, About us...)

More use of colours, racing is a dynamic thing afterall?

 

i think the site was simple and clean enough to convey the sole purpose

colour scheme and font sizes always needed to be worked with time and will improve slowly

Thanks for your help everyone. I must admit, that although it is my first site, i had to get someone to develop it for me. Because I have absolutely no idea when it comes to the technical stuff.

I had to write out all the procedures and do a mock up in excel for the overall idea of the site, but the part time developer has to take the credit for the final finish.

I am pretty happy with the site, but i will continue to make improvements and I appreciate the feedback.
