Please review my first site.....

Hey guys,

Thanks, first of all, for your help.

I am currently doing the 30 Day Challenge, and have come up with a micro-niche that is somewhat related to an interest of mine, Star Trek. Anyway, while there is a somewhat decent chance that I MAY be able to monetize this, I know that, more than likely, it will be slim (my one hope is the upcoming movie, and I do, by the grace of God, have this put together in time to maybe get ahead on that.) My main reason for this is to learn the ins and outs of IM in a real, tangible, meat and potatoes way.

Anyway, I know it's nothing too pretty to look at, so, I wanted to get ideas and suggestions to help me learn more.

In my view font color should be more bright, may be white.

 

bit flashy and it hurts my eyes.....change the colors.....

 

it looks good, nice and simple, but it could do with a bit of work, PM me if you want me to help you with it (Prices vary)

 

Taking into account it is your first site it looks quite good! Nevertheless you should work more on design structure and webdesign! Just work more one color contrasts and try another color combinations for background, left and right sides! It is better to replace background colors and make the main text more visible and readable for users! header image looks good! Website has inconvenient structure and the horizontal menu located under right side is not visible! Make website colors and text styles more pleasant for eyes!

 

Do you think this website, as it is now, (provided I make color changes,) can be monetized, if I keep the current layout/theme?

 

Good font color (grey is my favorite color), as per me look wise too good.

 

Very well done for a first site. Maybe just missing a logo. Overall i really like it
