Please review my first site

I just started blogging and this is my first effort.
Please give me suggestion and your valuable advice.

Seems to be very organized , easy (although loaded somehow long for me , but its maybe due to my internet)
Clean and nice design that does not hurt my eyes. Content choise is also good

My thoughs:

1. Load time is slow.

2. Random posts at the bottom is a great idea with the images!

3. Ask someone else about your Google ads at the top, I'm far from an expert but my eyes focus under the images (maybe move the down?).

4. The two ad boxes on the side, are they Google? When I mouse over they look like Google ads but they miss the google logo.

Nice blog, I can't comment on the content since I know nothing about that type of food.

 

Good Start, the Google Ad at the top is a little overpowering though..if there was somewhere more descrete to put it?

Good Work. Try to disable some plugins. And use Wp-cache.

 

I told you so many times not to use wass-up plugin. I was right see! ha ha I win.

Not to jack the thread but what is Wp-cache and will it help his load times?

I hosted with lunarweb , but I think the hosting quality is deteriorating.

 

Very nice looking blog, design is nice, like the random posts with the pictures at the bottom... I'm not to aware with the content though.. loaded decently for me..

 

My only complaint is lose the google ads banner. Try making your own

For a first attempt I would say very well done, there are some issues with it like others have already pointed out such as the load time and also it too me is not very clean looking in some areas a little cluttered. I seem to be having problems with the pictures loading at the right hand side aswell.

I use firefox browser and when designing websites I check to see if it works in both firefox and internet explorer, try checking in both to see if it is just me.
