Please review my first ever design

For me it seems very simple design, probably you need to make edges round, and try changing body area with some innovative idea.

Nice simple and clean... simplicity is the best...

 

For first design it looks very nice. Still, some improvements can be made.
Personally I would recommend few things:

1. Most important-make header more interesting.It is completely empty.Header is the most important part of good looking design and composition.

2. Edit the titles Popular category, Browse directory etc. You can lower the fonts or make them regular instead of bold. They already stand out enough because they are outlined and have different background color.
I would also change colors or titles background and border.

3. Remove that huge vertical gradient and choose solid color on content background. You will have problems to make that vertical gradient look good ones template is coded(think about short pages).

4. Flower in footer is nice, but also not in perfect and it will cause problems in coding.

The thumbnail is a bit small, but from what I see, that's pretty good for your first ever design, you've incorporated the graphic on the lower left into your layout pretty nicely.

 

from what i can see it looks great but its kind of hard reviewing it its too small you should make it bigger than maybe we can give you better reviews.

design looks good, color combination is fine , its a template so i cant suggest on logo or either, but may be u can release more colors with the same design set.

 

Thats fantastic design.. Green colour is always nice one to use on website..
