Hello All, This is my first attempt at creating an affiliate site. Please take a look and give me some feedback on all area's (design, content, etc...) Here is the site Use WhyPark. After it is reviewed and tweaked it will be moved to usewhypark.com... Thanks A-Lot! nscdn
I would perhaps do a banner that stretches all the way across the template. I'm not really crazy about the top left "Use WhyPark!" perhaps invest $10 into getting a logo in the Buy, Sell, Trade section. Get a banner that spreads the whole width there. Also, the blue links on the blue background are too hard to read on my screen. Perhaps just go with white there and if you want to keep them as rollovers maybe do a light grey. Try to avoid dark colors there since the background is so dark. Other than that, I think everything looks really good. I like the colors!
Yeh... Header is not so good. Try a better and eye catching one..and the bottom links -- content SEO revenue ... are difficult to see. unless you are trying to make those links hardly visible, I suggest u to change the color so that they can be easily seen....lol
Thanks for the feedback! Most of it has been useful... Rep has been given. Looks like I will be changing things on Top and some link colors...
Thanks for the Null Rep point Sorry to be harsh. Buts thats the first word that poped up in my mind when I visited the site. I would recommend to get another template before you waste to much time on that one.
Dollar, No need to be sorry. I am OK with harsh, just with a little explanation is all that I ask... I do appreciated all feedback. Quick question though, what does a Null Rep point mean? Thanks, nscdn
There are 3 colors of gems. Red = negative Greyish = Null Green = Positive It means your rep has no value. you need to need have a certain number of posts for your reps to be green. Although whatever that number is I don't know.
Thanks for the info, and the number needed is 50 posts. Sorry about the null reps people. noob I went ahead and made some changes, and put it out. I guess I will see how it does and make more changes if needed. The final sight is located at UseWhyPark.com Thanks Again, nscdn
The site looks alright. The ads can clearly be seen which is good, but then again, they are competely white while the rest of the site is all different blends of gray, which I don't really like. The content seems alright as it's not to over crowded. Good luck with this anyway.
i like the website. Its simple and clean, but use a different font color so its easier to read... Good luck
Great idea, though its mostly for the lazy domain owners that aint got no spare time to mess around with their parked domains, and maybe I understood it wrong, but is $99 PR domain or just pr account with unlimited domains.. Good userfriendly site and understandable, except for the above
Here are some suggestions: 1. Explain the term "Domain Parking" or provide a link to wikipedia entry on the term. 2. The "Questions about WhyPark" link points to the WhyPark site and so does sign up. It might be better for that first link to point to an FAQ as opposed to taking the user to the target site. 3. The WhyPark site itself looks very good. Since you are an affiliate, it might be good to mimic the overall design. Please update how you do with the site... Regards, OneFamilysBlog at Blogspot
Is the adverts a little strange for a domain parking site? I am seeing adult related adverts =/ If the ads are put there by you free host, I'd consider another =)
I was not aware of the adverts! That was a free hosting site (that was not supposed to have ads) where I was testing the site. The real site, located in my signature should not have any advertisements... I am now redirecting from the iTrello hosting.
