It's movement seems slightly jumpy, and it takes a while to complete 1 cycle - maybe it would look better if it moved faster, or maybe it would just be unreadable then - try it out
Nice idea - it does look a little jumpy plus the bit at the end where it goes blue is a little difficult to read (at least on my monitor).
You should bare in mind that some of your clients may have similar settigs, try and cater for everyone . Oh, and what software did you use to make it? It shouldn't really be jumpy at any speed.
try adding some more frames inbetween the current ones and upping the framerate. that should speed it up and make it less jumpy
The blue text at the end part is unreadable. Maybe you should lighten it a little bit. The speed is ok for me. If it's too fast, the whole thing would be unreadable also.
It looks nice. But for marketing purposes I think it's annoying that you have to sit and wait to get the message. And it's not all browsers that support moving favicons.
yes all browsers support this type of moving icon. .gif images have been around forever. it was the avi of 1985. thanks for the replies
i would think the idea of an animated favicon would be to draw attention to a bookmark, but personally it feels distracting to me. personal opinion, mind you.
