Try work on your logo, some products thumbnails are not appearing and you have some empty places which you can make use of it ,near to your googleads. Overall good
Thanks for the replies. The site is still a working progress until i can learn manipulate PHP better. also still learning how style sheets work.
Still looking very much like standard oscommerce, which is ok, but you can do so much more. The green shade of the logo and the blue background just don't go in my opinion. You would be better keeping the background the original white colour used. Take a look at www.colourlovers.com, you can get some great colour schemes there. Make your fonts bigger, you can find them in stylesheet.css - look for font and font-size within classes. Lose the adverts, you don't need them, you won't profit on them on your hits just yet. I don't believe any ecommerce website should be pushing any other websites, just their products. You need to gain the buyers confidence. You don't need the google search, you have a standard search that comes with oscommerce which will work well for you. Look at dropping search engine friendly urls in www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,2823
Are you live, or still in early development? Have you looked into prestashop, opencart or cubecart? They are much easier systems with easier to modify templates. Heck even the default styles on presta and open are simple and clean. At any rate, mushroomdigi knows what he's talking about.
i also think you should lose the ads. they are advertising products you might sell yourself. The grey font color for products makes it impossible to see. Under cooling systems the product picture link is broken. best of luck, redli0n82
