Hello! I decided to start an english (all my other sites are on Croatian) site for downloading. Moderators, don't attack me All software is freeware, trial, demo or shareware! One thing that I would recommend is a ratings system - so that people can rate the download. May I ask what plugin you used for the * Recent Software, * Recent Comments, * Popular Tags - box in the right column? I have seen that before and have not been able to find out what plugin it is. I like the colors, they really stand out and draw attention to the site. In the future, maybe you would consider adding a forum? That would allow members to post their own stuff on software. Your off to a good start.
It's not plugin, it came with template. For your suggestions? They are good! But, for now I decided to try this with Wordpress... Later I was thinking to create my custom CMS and then I can add ratings, size and other informations, option that users can register and add software etc. But, you gave me a good idea; i will try to find WP plugin for ratings... And later i'm thinking about buying a domain, for example: ultimatedownload.info, which is currently free... EDIT: I added ratings It has thumbs up/down and stars
