If you want to be a player in web design market, your own website must stand out with an exceptional graphic design. Yours, so far looks like very basic site. I think you have a lot more to do. Good luck.
The shadows of the fonts are pretty badly done, and the colors of the logo don't match the actual site. It gives a distorted whole, uneasy feeling for the visitor.
