I was shy for a while for getting opinions about my dating site. I am doing very well right now but i want to take opinions like what features i can add. What you like or do not like in the website as per features, as per design. Hi You have very nice site, but you can add more option for members such as 1) add more gender not only two 2) In How did you hear about us? if someone select other, so give them option to put in field so you could know location 3) keep more option like i am (gender) and looking for friends, man, woman, just chat, lasb.., gay... and more to get more members and more traffic. 4) To search: you don't give option to search but you require them to register or login. That way your traffic will runaway from your site. You have to let people search, if they find nice picture or profile you let them see a link "contact this person" once vister click on it they will sea a note "you need to register to contact this person" so that way they feel that they should register and once they register, login and goes to same profile and click on same link "contact this person" they should be transfer to a page of paid membership" There any many ideas, but you need to visit in your competition, just like match.com and yahoo personal and more. Thanks a lot shivam for the great ideas. I was thinking for a while for viewing profiles without logging in and I'll definitely do that as most of the dating sites are providing this feature. I must change some logic in the code for changing this but it's probably worth it. About searches, user can make normal search upto 3 pages without registering. do you think, people must see more or all the results? About enabling advanced search, it could take a while for me to implement about the distance searching but i can do that, too. About gender ideas and putting them in the looking for section is a very good idea, and it's easy too Thanks a lot for the great ideas
There are quite a lot of dating sites in the uk. Seems to be the new gold rush. You may need to differentiate yourself from the others such as yahoo and datingdirect. Quite a nice website but I would take off the google adds. You have a good pagerank.
Hi Sir Your site is too good, very nice layout and great in every thing. After reading shivam's suggestions, which are very meaning ful, i dont have much to add. To my opinion, dating sites should either be paid or have good blend of adsense to sustain revenue. Personally i would like to have adsense as revenue model. I think, that can be improved, especially in articles. ANy ways this is subjective issue, your site is real cool and good
really nice saite but i dont like the jin for free button and the image below it, but you have done a really good job.
Site is good. Couple things I suggest: 1. The main banner idea is good, but needs work. Girls is nice. Header text (Online Dating in Three Steps) needs to have nice and even padding arround it. Text inside the green box needs to be rearranged. Too much empty space. Make text color darker shadow of green. 2. Please always revise those New Member pictures on the top of the home page. This is your "face". You dont want some random ugly pictures of half naked guys show up and scare your vistors. Also, some of the pics are destroyed. It's not professional. 3. Join for Free banner is poorly made. 4. Overall, definitely has some potential.
