There is not much to review on the page, I think you should add a few more colors into the color scheme, once you get more members on your site it will look better.
Well you have a nice idea, but you definitely need to improve your page, add some colors or get a new design!
Nice idea, I did sign up for the free advertising phase, and will probably do more business in the future depending on how my first submission goes. Keep it up. PS. One suggestion, it is a bit hard to navigate, I still cannot figure out how to look at my profile or check my submission status. Navigation is definately not clear. Hope this helps.
Thanks all for the suggestions. ohmer, you mixed up two things. Advertisement and the Directory (SUbmit URL) is two different things. I saw you submitted your URL to the directory, which will be developed after my final exam. To display ads on the homepage (ads boxes), go to AdsCp instead. Therefore, I removed the directory link and also the directory control panel. I will develop it later. Its my fault i notice. I will make a guide to post ads on the page. Thank you guys. and ohmer, i will make sure your URL appear in my future directory.
There are two different directions for background stripes: ///// and \\\\\, which really makes me dizzy, which doesn't happen very often. The site is also a little too light for my eyes, but this could just be my crappy TFT. Clean design otherwise, it's a good start. Validate your HTML and CSS, find some free-to-use graphics including people, it's best if they look at the viewer if you're doing charity. Good luck!
It's better now, but it still lacks a somewhat human touch which imo is very important for charity sites. It is very clean but doesn't really shout out a message (except 'clean hospital floor' or something like that). If you don't like to put up a photo of people somewhere / in the banner, at least make a logo that's suitable for charity (cross, heart, hand.. [you get it] comes to mind.. something like that)
The site is nice, I just think its a bit annoying thet I see the instrcution on how to place an ads than the ads itself first, because if Im going to pay for an ads I would want my ads to be visible. so maybe you can move it beside accross the abnenr or on another page with a link to it on the main page. just IMHO
I'm viewing this in IE7. I see the header (the logo is good but should be larger), the site description, but where I believe the ads go I just see an entire page of empty white blocks. Are there any adds up yet? If so, I would validate against IE7. If there aren't, good luck and as soon as my new site is finished, I'll come back and sign up. It's a really nice concept. Sincerely, Mr. Unloadingzone
It is well set out and clean but I don't understand the things that are crossed out. What does it mean when things are crossed out. It is confusing, and personally I think it looks unprofessional. You also haven't banned obscene sites and I'm sure you would being a charity. I like the idea and it is great how you have developed site this far. Sincerely Tabby30
Thanks for the comments genius24k, MrUnloadingzone & Tabby30 . @MrUnloadingzone : now view it again, some ads are up now. @Tabby30 : Cant find a way to ban obscene site =x can only ban them And now, this project gonna stop soon I think. - It has quite a number of unique visits but all left without registration even they can advertise for free. - Not much people would trust me when the second phase starts I am developing my own free software now..more people will be interested in it compared to website like ads2help. So i will leave ads2help aside for now. It is very lonely & sad to spend hundred of hours building a website that has no member. Thanks all.
