Overall the simple rounded theme, even borders and such look really good - my only reservations would be the fixed metric fonts are an accessability /FAIL/ for large font/120dpi users such as myself, and the greys in the sidebar are just a touch too low contrast - at least when used in a serif font. (I'd say they're on the edge of usability minimums). Likewise you have some spacing issues in the little 'info' bars below the headers that look like a rendering error. Also where your tags are too long they're blowing out of the center column.

I also always touch upon the codebase when I review a site - and with 108 validation errors I would be ... concerned to say the least. It feels a little class-heavy, there's stuff in paragraph tags that aren't paragraphs, though the rest of it semantically at least looks like proper use of heading tags and so forth.

at two megs though, it is absurdly oversized and a pain in the ass to watch load. Given the number of images in your news items I'd SERIOUSLY consider reducing the number shown to three at a time - putting others off an index or having them 'condensed' with a link to the 'full story'.

Likewise you've got 49k of HTML that isn't even compressing well for 7k of actual content and 15 or so images/elements - properly coded I'd be suprised to break the 12k mark on that...

Though being a turdpress template you might not have a lot of control over that.

You got a good site. But i think it was much better if you had a .com TLD than .org one.

Great looking site, but I have to agree that .coms are the way to go.

very professional, do you happen to know the status on the .com, .net, ect.? I noticed the .com "page cannot be displayed" you may have a shot for it, you want to dominate ppl will remember the url but most likely with a .com attached to it. get some presence

If the .com would have been still available, I would have ordered that one. I know that .org isn't the best extension, but there weren't any others available and it's still a really nice domain name imo.

The site looks really good and professional but it would look better if you let there be some space between the pictures and the text in each post and you got a minor problem that appears if the text don't compensate the pictures hight. [IMG]
