Very nice layout.

Mightbe center image profile. It will looks better in my opinion.

 

Its simple and easy to read, I also like the banner too.

 

Luv your banner, but site could use some pics and some color, looks too wordy, I wasnt too inclined to read.

I really like that fact that you state what your blog is about right at the top. I agree though that some pictures would be nice. You could go to istockphoto and grab a picture of a wine bottle for your 2nd post. Just simple things like that.
