I have found following drawbacks in your website due to this you are not geting too many visitors.
Please note following drawbacks and try to make good.
1- you are not using heading tags properly. I have not found and <h1> tag in your homepage. You are using h2 and h3 tags only.
2- You are using images without alt tags.
3- You have very few backlinks.
4- You should submit to DMOZ and Yahoo directory.
5- Try to get backlinks from .edu and .gov sites.

 

In terms of appearance and articles, I think you've got it all figured out well. Good job.
On the technical side, the previous poster "umarpk" is on the money.
