Please review my Blog and Ad placement

I just finished the design of my future blog. It still under testing and I haven't started posting anything so far.

I would love to hear from you all of how the ad placement is on the blog and the colors and the overall design.

don't have much to say about it

but it looks professional, and the usual place for ads to be in

 

I think the best placement of ads is between contents

after reading 2 paragraphs put an ad

I like it. Maybe just add a little more content to your columns to bring them down some to fill in the white space on side of page at bottom of page.

 

One other thing. I host my sites with Dreamhost. Honestly I haven't had much down time, it has been pretty good. However i find that PHP pages that uses mysql much slower than a HTML based side.

For example, when you type the URL in the browser, it feels like is taking more time than usual to open the front page.

How do u guys find the speed? It looks normal to you?

If you want more impressions you should use theread more tag in your posts.

that is a great idea... but where should I add this php code in wordpress? After the post?

I dont know if anyone noticed that before giving any suggestion, we should first try to rectify the errors in placement and if the ads are agains TOS.

1) You are putting ads under Headings such as "Archives" and "Related Links" which is agaisnt TOS.

2) you can put ads inside post. They will do better than sidebar ads which are typically ignored.
