Please Review My Beautiful Site

It loaded very slowly the first time. The second was near instant and the 3rd it didn't show. So Idk man but theres my input.

 

Whats with the splash page? Why do you even have it? It's confusing.. havign to mouseover images just to see content in the center page is a bit dumb if you ask me.

 

are you sure..? it will make easy for visitor specially new one to see detail content because of a lot part of Celeb-Update.Com. It will make they straight directly go to what blogs they like without surfing others.
Any other suggestions..?

Let me start off with saying this, the ease of navigation on the site from my first impression was horrid.

I went to enter the website and couldn't find where to click, if I was not actually trying to approach the website to write a review I would have gave up hope on my first invalid click and exited.

Your issue with the website loading slow could be your target audience if maybe foreign based or perhaps one of the zillion ads/popups on the website.

I will give you hands down on the content though, really nice feel to it.

Once I got inside the website, after the popups it was a pretty comfortable place to stay.

Keep up the good work with the content, but the front page and ads would be my concern if I were trying to market this website in the advertising industry.

 

personaly it wouldnt leap aout at me if i was surfing,the thumbnails would need to be more obvious because they could be dissmissed as adverts as they are at the base.otherwise a good start

how about now..? when all of you said need more obvious on the front page to navigate, I just put the words "Click Images Below to Enter The Site". This will make new visitor understand what they will do next.
any suggestion..?

 

Maybe redirect your frontpage to the actual website? Maybe even use one image to navigate to the main website rather than ten?

Just some hints.

Also try and match your front page with the generic design of your "main" template.

 

thanks Rafter for your opinion. I have done this before. but each part of Celeb-Update.Com has main site itself, and each part has specific topic itself. I don't know what visitor most like and where they want to go to next site.
Like Boxoffice, it will just show topic about box office movies and trailers. Meanwhile Sexywomen is about hot and sexy celebrities women. I cannot join all topics into single main front page.

Personally I didn't have problems with loading, the site loads very fast.
Actually I don't understand the purpose of your site, it's like a directory that provides access to the sites listed at the bottom of the home page. Maybe anything else? What about any other site pages?

thanks. so the site loads will not be my main problem anymore.
The purpose is Celeb-Update.Com will display all celebrity entertainment channel, including news, movies, images, gallery, download music, etc. So the front page I made like this. People can straight enter the site they like directly by watching the preview content.
