I am aware I need way more content. I am slowly gaining it one article at a time. Just really new to all this and slowly learning website terminology. Thanks in advance! http://drunkenturkey.com
Looks tasty - My only thoughts are where do you go from here? Looks like you have pretty well covered the topic to me.
well buddy the site work is great.. what i dont like is the long actually very long index page.. no one likes scrolling and keep on scrolling down.. sumthing like paginating or enlisting the content and navigating to it would be a better idea
Yeah I know what you mean. It's just none of the subjects on the front page fit into any of the subjects of each menu. I guess I can add them to an idividual blog post and put a link on the front page. Thanks for the advise. I thought you guys were going to crush me being that you all seem to be much more advanced than me.
Hey mate, I would suggest you look at on page optimization in the meantime putting more relevant content on your website. Make sure the title tags and description and h1's are targeted and relevant to the theme of your site in order for it to rank it higher in search engines. Good luck with it.
Great site and niche. I'll be bookmarking it and referencing it in the future. I'm critical about sites so here's my two cents.... Suggestions: ~ The side scrolls on the facebook like iframe and twitter icon that I see aren't very appealing. Changing the elements width and removing the overflow-y will fix that. Maybe some padding on top of them for separation from the header banner image. Maybe even move them to the very top of the page above the banner where there is more width... ~ When making images with text in Photoshop (if you're using PS) I would suggest using Anti-Alias'ing which can be found in Window > Character. In the panel it's on the bottom right in a drop down. That'll make the text smooth and not jagged edges. ~ Some erasure and edge softening on the navigation images. The white which was removed is still a little bit visible which would be fine if the background was white but since it's brown it's important to cut things out precisely for a more professional look. I'm very critical with sites but I do like the site and think it's a great resource for anyone looking for beer can BBQ info.
Thanks so much. I need to study this more. I pm'ed you as to not embarrass myself with the question. lol
the colour really suit for the theme of this site, so far is good, but maybe change the font style into more easier read type, some font type just too showy and useless.
