Please review my BANS site

I just set up a BANS site in an hour and want to know what you all think of it
There's no logo yet, the one there now came with the theme, i'm having a new one made, but what do you think to the colours, do they match?

I agree. Design is poor, but there is lots of good info. Good for you!

 

I don't agree - Design is not that poor - Infact you can make it best by introducing some changes!

Make some changes in Header and try to eliminate this white area -

Make some catchy Buttons for sidebar and also bring the same change in Blog post title area.

Website opening fine in IE 6.2 & Firefox and Loading time is ok!

Design is not that bad - Just need little changes ..

Thanks +rep added, i'm having a new header done, hopefully that will be able to make the top of the site look better. I'm considering having some buttons made, just don't know if my budget will be able to stretch, other projects eating up all the money, but thanks for the reviews so far

[1] Needs a logo / slogan

[2] Ads blend well

[3] Needs more images

[4] More sport categories to organise things

[5] Add more stuff on the left menu at the bottom

Mate, no offence but this thread is months old and the site no longer belongs to me lol.
And it also proves you didn't really check the site out or you would have seen that the domain has been parked...PEON
