Please review my adsense placement

I need your expert advice with regard to my add placement on my website http://widetravelers.com . I changed it already, but still not confident about the result.

I think there's too much on the top.
I mean, there's some on the top, and then there's the skyscraper, which people also see when they view the top of the page.

I would switch the "recent visitors" and the "advertise here".

but the two blocks up top are fine, IMO.

 

You could ad a horizontal banner above the first post or a square one in the sidebar.

 

The top block with the video looks good. I would add a second block on the side. Just be careful to move things around so the page doesn't look too clutter....hope this helps
