White background is good for Adsense. If you want to increase traffic on you website, I suggest you to find low competition keywords (long tail keywords) and write article for every keyword. They rank top 10 easily. Try to change position of Adsense banners. You can put Adsense banner codes in different positions in posts. It should increase your earnings.
You might want to remove your screenshots, sharing stuff like CTR will get you banned from Google Adsense.
An 80% bounce rate means 4 out of every 5 people who came to your website could not get away fast enough. That is pretty bad.
That is quite simply NOT true. Google defines bounce rate in analytics as someone who goes to a page and leaves it. They could be on the page for an hour or for 15 seconds. For a site who gets the majority of it's traffic from the search engines, a high bounce rate is normal.
This is what I see. Your CTR is low. This can be fixed by improving ad placement. Also, you should run a spelling/grammar check on your articles. I'm guessing english isn't your native language? I'm finding most of them fairly difficult to read. In my opinion, the entire site seems kind of spammy, like you built the site solely for the purpose of attempting to make money from it. Google doesn't like these low quality sites. Just a word of warning. I'd focus on improving ad placement, grammar/spell checking, etc. Make sure your content is unique and not spun from other sites. Your niche might also be poor performing in general, if that's the case you can try targeting people with affiliate programs ala amazon and the like.
No. It means in all likelihood, that they are brought to your website for misleading search terms. Then leave. I have never seen 80%. Highest I have seen since Analytics became a tool I use is 65%. 80% IS OUTRAGEOUS!
I'm not sure that was in your best interests, or your friends. I couldn't see any ads on your site, they're either really well blended or they're gone. What happened? You linked to a stack of social networking sites - 3 of those didn't actually leave your site and the twitter account was for "robinmym" which is odd, and the tweets weren't in English. Now that's fine, but keep the account away from your US focussed site as it blows your cover. Your linked in account is good as it shows you have worked in Automation - but more sales than actual engineering? And how did you land a job like that after being a blogger/seo for so long?
Hi To Original Post , I want to say , you will have to place your Adsense at right positions as your CTR is low. And About Bounce rate , I want to say a High Bounce rate is never good , I get my 90% traffic from search and my Bounce rate is always below 50% that I think is a safe limit, Borrowing an account from your friend is not a bad unless you have been banned previously by Adsense , In that case you are not allowed to participate in adsense Program
You've got some really good niche content and traffic, but very poor use of advertising space. Just a few tweaks of your ad space and you should start earning more. You could be doing so much more with your available space here. In order to get clicks on your Adsense, you need to make sure the site visitor actually sees the advertisements. And, right now, i don't think that is happen It took three clicks of the page down button just to find the first and only vertical Adsense banner. That's the worst place you could put a banner. As is, the banner is literally inside or sandwiched next to the content, so that it cuts off part of the article. To me, it just looks like you might have selected the wrong size to display in that spot and that is easily fixed. Do you see where it says, 'recent posts/comments' on the upper right hand side? Right there is a perfect place for an Adsense unit. Bump that recent posts widget down under the ads. Put a horizontal banner under 'latest news' header or under the article title. Replace the second photo down with an appropriately sized Adsense box unit. Maximize the number of Adsense units you use on the page. If Google says you can have three, then use three.
Someone remind me to never hire this guy to write articles for me..lol Your articles are all poorly written = %80 bounce rate.
Ad sense on it's own is a very poor way to make income. It more of a supplement than anything else. Try using the space to advertise other affiliate products or offer up the free space to other advertisers to pay you for them to advertise on your site. Also, you may want to create a separate page where you do a 'Top 10 Recommended Products' with an affiliate link embedded under each product. Az
