I think its perfect.

 

as far adsense tos is concerned it is alright, but why don't you use one of the rectangles inside the article, plus try blending ads with your website.

 

you should use a Leaderboard..now are too big banners

 

You can add link unit

 

Here the new ones ,change the whole system and also using cloudflare for page speed.

 

I guess instead of the topic image inside post, u can make the add instead it will help much, also in the home page but the text ad beside the brief " side to side " instead of the image.
