I have this bakery site in Swedish that I've tried to monetize Adsense on, I thought I did it well but apparently not. you might want to mix-up the flow. in scrolling down, it is picture > ad > recipe. You might want to have an ad beside the recipe, not right below the picture. the page also seems very long, might want to break it up into sections of the site, so it loads faster. Just a few thoughts.
