Please review my ad placement

Hey,

I'm a noob to the whole internet advertising market, so please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Just started a new blog, getting most of my traffic from stumble upon. I'm getting about 2000 impressions a day, so far I've made about $0.38 (from about 10k impressions total).

I've only got one adsense box, at the bottom of my posts. Is it possible / allowed to have more than one adsense box per page? I've noticed that when I load the index of my site, only one adsense box displays (out of 3)

can you place an ad in the top of the page? above the fold is the term. it relates to anything the user sees when they first open your page.

Just added a firefox referral button at the top of the page.

 

Do not use the standard banner. Use the rectangular and place it in between the post.
standard banner at footer is the worst.

By the way, could you tell me how you get the traffic?

You can place 3 ad units + 3 link units + 3 referrals + 2 search boxes in one page.
