Please review my Ad placement

I have google ads setup on my blog - http://web-head.blogspot.com

I like to try and keep adverts subtle so they do not intrude the page and frustrate the user. Is this good?

Would it be better if I had a huge block of ads at the top like quite a few people seem to? Or is my method a better recieved solution?

It's hard finding a balance between user experience and successful ad placement/revenue gains.

 

They look nice. Well done. Good looking blog, subtle but there. The way they should be.

colours are good but your ads are small and so away from your real content. your visitors will not see these ads

 

The search is a bit rubbish I think, as you have to search AND then click on a link in order to recieve payment. I prefer something more direct.

Also, in response to trichnosis, I've tried not to make them too intrusive. I can't think how to integrate an Ad that doesn't make the page look ugly (if I place an Ad somewhere at the top). Any tips?
