Hey guys. I was wondering if I could get your opinion on my ad placement, styles and colors?

On the homepage, I have 2 image ads and 3 text link ads. On the post pages, I have 3 image ads and 3 text link ads.

My blog is Homes of the Rich.

    Thanks!

    **Personal Opinion##

I think the Ads at the top " lower " the Upscale trust factor, Screams.. Fan Site versus actual sales of property
    - forums useless

Well done in picking a nice niche for your site.

For me, the ads push the main content down the front page too much, especially combined with your row of images below the navigation bar. From a user's point of view, I don't like seeing the text ads above the main content - it makes me think the site is obviously for you to sell ad space rather than to give me useful information.

Also, I was a bit confused by the site navigation to start with - I clicked on an image, expecting to go to the page for that property, not expecting to just see an enlargement. I think the problem is that firstly, you have ads and social media buttons separating the title from the images, so the eyes don't make a connection between the two; and secondly, you can only see images from one property "above the fold", so it implies the images are the actual navigation for the site - it would be better to show maybe just the first 4 images for each property on the front page and make them link to a single page for the property - that way, you will see 2 or 3 properties "above the fold", so it will be obvious it is a list of properties.

I'd also suggest perhaps served ads like AdWords might not give you the best returns - they will probably serve you ads about buying property, when most of your visitors might actually be aspirational "window shopping" and you might do better by selecting other products that they would be more likely to buy (I don't know what, maybe jewellery, clothes, etc)?

    Hope this helps.

Personally I think when possible the ads show be separate from the content, like on the sides. Especially in the case of this website. Just so users don't get confused with what is content and what is an ad.

Cool site though. Just line the ads on the outside of the content.

Add is not important for site if you want to put add you should set it at proper place when people can't find at first eye.
