    Hey guys,

Well the site isn't setup yet, and I'm wondering if this is a good idea. It just came to me out of the blue.

It's nothing special, but it would basically provide an online place where people could go and access nifty tools (I think I'd start off basic, calculator, img resizer, etc.)

Then it could get more complex.

But is this idea any good? Would you access a place that:

    1) Gave you the acess to a variety of tools
    2) Allowed you to easily and uninstal tools on a simple user interface

I would also like to hear what kind of tools would be most wanted by YOU!

    Thanks in advance.

Nice typography. Very consistent website. I would only improve the menu and removed borders from menu and header banner.

You are reviewing Gazotto. Ya that's gonna get changed.

I'm talking about a new website (I haven't created it yet). What do you think of the idea I laid out in the first post?

Yeah, looks like some people don't even read the first post.

What do you mean "uninstal tools on a simple user interface"? You mean I would have to install them on my hdd in the first place?

Nope it would kind of be like a desktop interface, with icons. You could visit another page where it would show a complete list of scritps you could install to use on the web.

An icon would appear and you would click it to run that appropriate script. If you uninstalled something it the icon would disappear.

    Totally on the web.

I don't think the idea will have any success. Any possible tool that you could integrate in a web interface is far more efficient in a stand-alone application ran from our own pc.
Maybe a web oriented tool may work (backlink checker, domain whois, etc) but you have huge competition in this area :)

So pretty much a widget based web-desktop application? Like google homepages or something similar?
