Please Review Flash Games Dump!

I'm just about happy with my new games site: Flash Games Dump

So far I've managed to add a small amount of games, but I've given them each a new description and a new thumbnail and also am cross linking it with my flash games dump blog which should help bring in traffic.

What I want to know, what do you guys think about the design and usability wise about the site?

The design is a modified version of another template and I've done all I can think of to make it look and function the best it can. So what am I missing now?

Any feedback would be helpful

 

Overall I like the site but I think the side menu could be reworked a bit. I don't think you need the scroll box which lists all the games. Also, the linked items are all different colors. The google ads are blue, center colum red, right side green and main menu black. I would try to keep things a bit more consistant.

I think u have a great site there... the color blend is nice... the Google Ads background color and presentation is also nice (this guy must have get this advise from Google AdSense site I think)

Suggestions :

1. At the Top where you have put the image or Search, It needs to be adjusted and moved down, as this is the top part of the website you need to be very accurate over there.

2. If you can put game ratings like latest Games, Most Played Games, Most Rated Games, etc, it will increase the experience of better viewing to the users

I'm still tweaking the side menu a bit to see what I can come up with. As for the scroll box, I guess you right I'll be removing that ASAP.
As for the colours, thats another thing I need to change - thanks for the advice mate!

Thanks I've been using adsense for ages and I've had experiences with arcade sites so I have a clear idea the best places for ads to appear, but i guess river is right, i might be able to increase CTR if all my links are consistent.

1 - I was planning to completely remove that, and move the search box more down, making the header smaller so more of the webspace is viewed - wouldn't that be a better method?

2 - I do have most played and most rated games - just seems I forgot to add the rating feature to the site so it comes up as empty

For the latest games, I was leaning more towards shoving my RSS feed from my blog in there, making their link more better and also publicize my RSS feed more so I can monetize it later - what do you think of that concept?

 

I think after these small changes, your website will look more pro. and ready to get marketed.

 

Hey You are Quick Man... You have already removed the Searching Now dont you think that the Top Part of Green Is looking some empty ?? What are you planing to do there man ?

 

Okay, so what changes I've made so far:

- removed search box to sidebar
- changed all links to red to go with the whole linking theme
- changed all ads to red text so its more fluid
- using feeds from my blog to find the latest games which is now in the sidebar.

Hmm, I don't know about that yet - I was planning to just resize it so its smaller, but I might be able to put something else in their - im not sure. Do you have any suggestions what I can do with that space?

Along with that, is there any other changes I can do to make my site more appealing?

Thanks Doing as much as i can to make it as appealing as possible. Just added another 2 games to keep the content fresh as possible.
