Your color scheme could be better, the text in the body of the page is multi colored,
I think you should use 1 or 2 colors, and I do not like the grey background.

 

A little on the dull side as far as the color scheme. I agree, the grey just doesnt look too good. I do like that you have content in your site though and also the search bar at the top is kinda cool.

The colour should a little brighter and the graphics should be upgraded but the content is good.
