Large sightseeing picture on the right side of a page is very nice. It made me dreaming about Wilderness Canoe Trips in northern Canada But it's too big as I think. it is even bigger than skyscraper banner. Perhaps 4-5 little pictures would look more pretty. I like colors of your site and top menu. Logo absence of course is not very good but even without logo it looks nice.

You just need to escape the Ampersand you use with &

I really like the photograph you used in your content area! For your header design, I would replace it with a more colorful higher quality photograph. It would also look more organized if you placed your site's name on there as well.
