Here are a few things i would recommend: 1. Add better navigation. Create some About, Contact, etc type pages. 2. Change the color of the skyscraper ad. Make the links blue in color. It must seem as a part of the side bar. 3. Don't use Sidebar Widgets for the ads. Don't write the heading "Ads" on top of the ad. Edit your obar.php page and paste the code instead of using sidebar widgets. 4. The referral looks too bright. Select a bluish shade. Add one or two more referrals too. Otherwise the blog's great!!
