I'm looking for reviews of Blogged Out

Looking for comments on the content, and navigation of the blog.

Is there anything you would change?

Wow, really nice site! You have obviously put a lot of time into it, and it looks great.

The only thing I can think of is the number of post per page, but based on your skill level, I am more interested in your thought on how many posts you recommend per page.

Good question about the number of posts on the page.

I've been playing around with this on the blog and my advice is to see what impact the number of pages has on your search engine ranking. I'm finding that the more posts I have, the better the blog does in the search engines.

The downside is that people have to scroll [and scroll] down the page, so it's really getting to an optimum for your blog.

Though you have to scroll down because of the number of posts, the only reason why readers would scroll down would be to see these posts right? I don't mind scrolling down if there are stuff I want to be. I think it's easier that way than having to go to a new page after every 5 posts.

The number of blog posts is obviously an issue, so I'll look at reducing the number. I could also add the recent post plugin, so that readers can click on the links to take them to a recent post, rather than scrolling.

 

I've changed the posts on the homepage to 10, it was 20.

Any other comments appreciated.

Looks good. Yeah I don't think I recent blogs plug-in would hurt. I also really like that you have a small picture in every corner. I've bookmarked your blog.

 

The design is pretty nice, for your background (the light part) I would make the shade a bit darker so the contrast between the dark brown above isn't too strong.

I'm really struggling to think of how I can earn an income from this blog.

I am going to try adding Adsense but I don't want it to make the blog look untidy.

 

I really like the design, it makes me feel like having some coffee.

It's pretty nice!

 

If you are looking to put adsense in then I suggest the following placements:
-A small horizontal 4 link bar below the header and above the first post.
-A 4 or 5 link text box in the sidebar.
-A half banner or some type of rectangular box underneath each posts (adsense will automatically only show 3)

nice blog but as someone already pointed out - make the background a bit darker. and also number of posts.

 

Wow. I liked it. Its superb. Honestly I can't suggest any change in it. But consider adding social bookmarking icons at the end of each post.

you have a nice layout. the top banner looks excellent , the color scheme is also great. As about the navigation , I have to scroll to get the menu , that`s not too user friendly...

 

i loved your wp theme . is a custom theme or a free theme? can you share it pls?

I have another suggestion. You should get a nice little brown favicon. It's annoying for some reason to see it in my bookmarks without one.
