I can tell you how to fill in the 1.5 - invest in a premium WP theme! Seriously, looks like you have good content, ideas, etc...but with generic theme, it's hard to take it serious. You know what I mean? You definitely have potential with this, so make it as great as it could be!

Yeah, I totally understand what you mean, but anyone who has been blogging for any length of time (which is a good portion of your targeted user base) will recognize the theme - soooo many people use it. But seriously, best of luck, you have a great idea!
