Hi everyone, I recently launched my new company website http://www.auctionmonster.net I am kind of hoping you could all review and let me know what you think.

I was also wondering if you have suggestions on how I can go about getting more traffic and promoting my site. I know the best thing I could do is find people to list stuff, but I was kind of hoping that making the site completly free until april might help do the trick-- any suggestions???

Site design looks great. I think to get boost for such sites, you need to keep it free initially and also need to advertise. Also trade links with related sites.

Will do, I am doing that right now. :) Please guys I want you to rip apart my site.

Here are some of my ideas, let me know what you think

Add a templates section through affilation with templatemonster
    Freebies Section
Web Resources and Tools -- Including links to great sites

If you guys know of anything I might add to the site to increase it's popularity I would appreciate it.

    Nice site.
    Pros:
Simple, easy to use layout. Colors contrast enough to make it easy to read. There is no question that this is an auction site and it seems simple to use.

    Cons:
Why would I use your site to auction my stuff? Do you serve a specific niche? Do you have a better pool of buyers? Are you cheaper? Are you just trying to stick it to the eBay man? Nothing sells me on using your site at this point. With an auction site success breeds more success. You need to find your specific audience, customer, vendor base; give them a reason to come and give them a reason to stay.

    Disclaimer:
I don't really know anything about auction sites. I never use them. The answers to the above questions may be obvious to others besides me.

    Overall:
Aesthetically pleasing and functional site. Find your niche and drag them in.

    Good luck.

First get rid of that adsense block, it is very unprofessional.

I think it looks great, you need to get a lot more content and sales though.

Do you mean the navigation bar links. I decided to go with a pixel based font for readability. Is thier anything in perticuler else you don't like.
