Please review and help with re-design!

I am in the process of getting my site ready for the new football (soccer) season.

I have made a few changes, but still think it does not look right.

I would love to have your views on the site, what I should change, and what can be improved.

It need more contents. page is very small. Few links in header will be great. surfers some time miss some information. so placement of links in header and footer will be good.

 

What do you think I need to add to the home page?

if you need more traffic there are specific forums for this , here in digitalpoint.

 

The site looks great, small and easy to navigate. The theme is centered around the matches which makes this website look fantastic.

i like the colour and structure generally

not so keen on the red headings with white text, they need some kind of styling, maybe even just making the text smaller on the headers would improve it a lot and capitalizing rather than upper case entire words on headers

 

What do you think would be a better color for the headings?
