source code i review your source code. you should have place your <title> tag before and outside <head> tag. text I dont like the big font and the color red in your text. adsense dont hide your adsense. place your adsense at the top of your webpage. i suggest add adsense before your content. name URL sub folder make your page title related to the website topic. not page1.htm, page2.htm and so on... for example: # Doll Shop # Bear shop Make a title for Doll Shop as "Doll shop" not page page2.htm and also for Bear shop
Congratulations on building your first site. I think the font is too big and I agree with skywalkerph the name of your sub pages should be changed to the title of the anchor text you used. Doing this will help you to rank better in the serp's.
Thanks for the advice. Wil try to change Sub page titles but will have to do battle with Mrsite templates. Thanks .
Skywalkerph is pretty much right on. I would definitely make the Adsense more dominate, at least by using a larger ad block, and possibly adding another one on the top or side. Great for a first site though.
Some suggestions: 1. Remove the white from the teddy bear in the banner 2. Work on the buttons, they seem to be pixelated 3. Remove the image junk at the bottom 4. Make the content text look more professional (not so big / bright / bold)
