    also any thoughts on CTR increase?

    ok..thanks....i have the search at bottom of page...seems to do ok there....should i move it to top left?...

    any other feedback?

    I think a text square ad next to the images or a text banner ad at the bottum of each recipe would give you a good CRT

    and I also think the search box should be on the top so users can spot easely and make a search

    if i put an adsense ad at the bottom of each post...wouldnt that put me over the max ads allowed per page??

    sorry but can you get more than %1 clicks?

    you should use ads in contents, under the titles, after the content. you use top menu adsense. also, do not show more than 2-3 posts on mainpage.

    I think you should put adsense search at top-right & change the link ad on the right to the top-right, under the search.

    I agree with moving the search box up towards the top of the page more. There's a lot of content on there, maybe just reduce the amount of posts to say 3?

    I have to say I'm not sure about the color combo for the ads either.. have you tried more subtle colors? Not sure if bright red and green would attract people or not. Probably this is just my personal preference.
    The site looks great though.

    i avg 10% ctr ......as is....good enough?...:)

    with over 15k uniques/month......

    google italian recipes (no quotes).....where am i??...:)

    am i missing anything?

    Placement looks good. Only thing to increase clicks would be to add a banner in the top (which would ruin the nice look of your site). The top of the page will always convert the best, also remember that you want to keep placements above the fold (in the visible area of the screen) so as to ensure that the visitor has every opportunity to see/click the ad.

    BTW - I agree that the colors are clever but don't draw the eye. I would change the colors to be in contrast with the rest of the site.
