I'd recommend putting a box of ads at the start of each blog post (under the title of the post).

 

And in content.

 

i already have a small box just after the title. So you are saying a bigger box?

 

Try Medium Rectangle (300 x 250).

And I don't think the leaderboard ad at the top works well.

 

300 x 250 is the best in my opinion,

if your not using it, your losing money

you have more than 3 Ad unit on a page which is against TOS. I know it will show only 3 ad units but it is against TOS.

No. It will be treated as Google ads but will be counted individually. Google TOS says,

# Up to three ad units may be displayed on each Web site page.
# A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
# A single link unit may be placed on each Web site page, in addition to the ad units and search boxes specified above. Link units are considered to be 'Google ads' for purposes of these program policies.
# A single referral button per product may be placed on a page up to a maximum of 4 buttons, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above. Referral buttons are considered to be ‘Google ads’ for purposes of these program policies.

 

Now that simply means..

I can put 3 ads on a page + 1 referral and thats fine with Google TOS.

Now am i right?

 

You can put 3 ad units + 1 link unit + 2 search box + 4 refererral butons on a page which is fine with Google TOS
