The sublinks, e.g. Pay per click, should be direct links to that subcategory, not to the main category. (like http://www.dmoz.org/). I think the headers (e.g. Affiliate Programs) should be bold to make them stand out more. Otherwise, it looks very simple but nice.
it's good overall, BUT : 1) remove the administrator login, the visitors don't need that, lol, only you, and I think you can remember where to login 2) increase the size of the text font, mainly the categories-subcategories listing in the index page. Too small, and I wear glasses. And besides that, you have half of a screen empty. 3) found some errors in the categories descriptions. Gramatical errors. Anyways, it shows that you've copied descriptions from somewhere else. But it shows that you took some time to create this directory. It's a custom script ? It's not bad overall, but you stilll have a lot a work to do.

Its a work in progress as I said earlier I am a noob at php and my directory is 100% my scripting (custom) it will improve as time goes on. Of course thats why I have posted here to get input. I will change fonts for readability. I will remove the admin login link as well. The only links that aren't direct are those submitted by me as the directory doesn't allow links that long otherwise. (these links are referral links to try and make a small amount of money since the directory is free to support it) Any other input is greatly appriciated Thank you to those that have to this point.
mokimofiki I revisited your site and like some of the changes, I encourage you to continue. There's a site that will provide text ads that are 'gogle like' that may be helpful for you with monetization the problem with them is sometimes they are a bit bitchy about the sites they accept, it could bring a little ppc income. It's www.etology.com take a look and possibly your site could be self supporting. Note: I have nothing to do with etology other than I use them and get paid as they agree not always a lot but it helps, it is not and affiliate link I am just trying to be helpful. Maybe a good share, maybe not but at least I try blackpaw
There's too much text, with no white-space for your eyes to relax. Try adding in some breaks. Maybe some light-colored photographs or images. Something that will let your eyes focus on without trying to read or interpret something. If I stumbled upon this site from a search engine, I would hit "back" before I even read the title.

I'd really suggest adding some more links. Also, you should make the individual links more distinguishable between each other. There are no visual separators
