All in all a good blog, especially for your first I agree with earlier replies about the colors and white background. I think the light blue is to light, maybe you should play around with it. I would try to change the background a little so it is not to harsh on the eyes. You want to keep your visitors on your site, and not force them away because they are having trouble reading your content. It is also advisable to use the "read more" link and shorten your posts....very user friendly as this allows your visitor to quickly scan the first few lines of your posts very easily and find what they are looking for. I don't understand people harping on the white background, over 90% of the top sites out there has a white background! White background is easier for the eyes. You guys need to learn this.
We do not need to learn anything. We Know! and a lot of us do not like it because it can be quite harsh on the eyes. You came and asked for a review. We voiced our opinions. Several pointed to the same thing. You do not like what you hear I would take that as positive criticism and do something with it. Best regards Dave

I really like the header. It's a nice, fresh logo with a title that clearly defines the mission of the website. With good and persistent content , you should be able to have success with it soon enough. Keep up the good work!
