    I want to create a social networking site .. starting with a small no that is .. say 10,000 people for now. Something like the facebook .. but keeping it simple. The features i want are;
    - personal profile n info same as facebook
    - photo sharing .. limited say just profile pic and another 20 pics only
    - wall features same as facebook (status, coments, like & dislike only)
    - Sharing pics and videos same as facebook
    - creating groups

    I want to know
    - how much would this cost (complete designing, hosting, domain and protection from hacking)
    - how much time will this take

    I would say at least 500$, but I'm a video editor not a web designer. And please, if you pick any designer from here, make sure he/she is really good, because as you can see above, most of them are not.
