Please recommend shopping cart software for use with Google Checkout

    Does anyone run a shopping cart with Google Checkout? I'm tryig to get it to work with Zen Cart but the GC module available from Google is years out of date and simply doesn't work.

    Has anyone successfully integrated GC into a shopping cart script, oscommerse, cubecart etc?

    Every single one google 'recommends' is a hosted shopping cart where you pay per month to use it: http://checkout.google.com/seller/integrate_getnew.html - and they give no support for payment modules for proper shopping cart scripts that you host yourself.

    As far as I know, Google Checkout is integrated in CS-Cart.

    PrestaShop comes with Google Checkout built-in as one of the default options. It's free too.

    Magento ties into Google checkout and has plenty of room for expansion. Start out with a free community edition with room to grow into a full enterprise solution.

    Something to keep an eye on: Google announced today that they are transitioning Checkout to their new Google Wallet service, which will eventually include NFC payments as well. It probably won't make a big difference in the short term, but in the long run its something to be aware of.

    Umm, guess we'll have to cross that bridge. I used zen cart in the end and made my own module based on the broken one supplied by google.

    Magento's implementation of Google Checkout is okay only if you are selling simple products with 1 SKU and no options (colors, sizes).
