Not sure if this will be the best for you, but I personally use the Flickr Photo Album for WordPress plugin. It pulls any new images I add to flickr into my blog automatically. If you want to see it in action, just check out my personal blog (my name link in the signature) and go to the photos section.
I LOVE the Flikr album but you have to make the Flikr stream public, which is not good for me. I'm also struggling to find a suitable photo gallery WP plugin.
