Hi there, I am having a huge problem trying to create a sitemap for my site www.photosales.co.nz

I have tryed xml-sitemaps.com full version, does not work properly over 50,000 pages, tryed gsitemap, program crashed at about 180,000 pages.

    Any ideas please.

did you try creating multiple sitemaps?

I think xml-sitemaps.com is the best available on internet, but if you are having problem with the huge number of pages you should still use xml-sitemaps.com but create multiple sitemaps.

Google also recommends that if you have many pages, you should create multiple sitemaps.

    How do I do that?

If I set the xml-sitemaps one to 50,000, how to I get it to carry on from where it left off after it has done the first lot?

I have tryed http://www.vigos.com/products/gsitemap/ and also the commercial version of xml-sitemaps.com - and both fail to create a complete sitemap for my site.

Does anyone have any other ideas?>

Totally agree, they are very good - but our site has over 1million pages on it - that's our problem.

You can edit sitemap.xml through adobe dreamweaver software.
which pages you are not able to find in sitemap,
    you can edit the same.
    It works.

Download Xenu software which is free version. And try with it. It crawls all site URL and related files also
