It looks very new and not many widget there. If you are looking for more display of adsense, try to display top and/or bottom of your latest post. You can do this with feedburner/monetize/feedflare for blogspot hosted or manually change it on wordpress. It is easy. Also, try to add quantcast to let your use monitor your website traffic. Need at least 20 categories and some labels. Join blogcatalog, entrecard, sezwho to drive more traffic and comments to your blog.
Nice start! The top banner image is cool looking. I would rather see the site with the blog postings in the center of the page with a right and left column for ads. Nice and clean design!
