Please rate my header image

The font is pretty average and the stroke and outer glow is a little lame.. Spacing is good on it though..

 

Ok, I know some people don't like it. I need to know why...not just more comments like "its average". That doesn't really help

 

Too much going on, looks cheap.

 

6/10, if possible make it more shiny and colorful.

It's good that you included both genders in the picture. It makes the header appeal to a wider market. But like the others I really don't think the "watery" or "spotty" background works for it. If you want a little texture, maybe use a stock photo? Overlay your man and woman picture over a picture of a horizon, a beach, picnic places... you know, somewhere happy. Oh and I think it would be better if you include the whole url in the header. Also, try changing the font. It looks a bit uneven to me. Maybe a font that doesn't have pointed edges like Verdana or Century Gothic? If you can download other fonts that would be better.

Everyone else is managing fine. If you look I just put brackets around the .net so google doesn't index it in this thread.

Just take th brackets out.

 

It's like a page from 1995... Make it fresh without pictures or with high quality pictures.

I'm surprised at how many people

1) don't notice that I bracketed out the url
2) don't read 2 posts above thiers to see why
3) can't see how to fix the problem just by looking at the url
