The design is extremely plain, even if the colours have good contrasts. I like it, but I suppose you might attract more visitors to stay for a while if you add some pictures. You should also consider to design a logo and to give some basic informations about the blog in the head part, so that people can imagine what its main topic is. A click on author gives no result but goes back to the same site.
