Hello, I created this 3D Nieuws website about 3D News, movies, webshop, ... a few months ago. The website is in Dutch, so probably you won't understand the content but that doesn't have anything to do with my question. I would like some feedback on stuff like the design, user friendlyness, SEO, or anything else you like or don't like about it. Thanks in advance!
Hi there, First of all, design wise, it looks a little bit like a template site. If it were my site. I would first create myself a logo. Something colourful and unique. I'm sure you could some forum somewhere to create you one for like $20. In the meantime, I'd make your H1 title a bit bigger and place it above everything. Doesn't necessarily have to be above the menu but above the slideshow. As a user, the first thing I see is the add for 3D Mario. There doesn't seem to be a visual reason for me to hang out on the site at the moment sorry. I'd also move all your videos to below the slideshow as well. Will create a more enticing look for the user before the page fold. Currently I find the bottom of your site more interesting design wise than the top. Well done nonetheless if you're just starting out. The code isn't too bad but haven't totally got into as yet. Just my two cents. Cheers.
Thanks a lot for your opinion, it is very usefull. I placed my h1 above the slideshow (and a little bit bigger) as you said which is better tbh. The part of the videos i don't understand actually. If you mean placing the videos above the news slider I think I wouldn't like that because the news is one of the most important things of my site I think. Any more opinions?
