    Hi,

I am starting a website which will let users auto install common web scripts like wordpress, joomla , etc. I am still developing the website and I have setup the front end and have setup an auto installer for wordpress already. The code needs to modified for different scripts. Before I start adding more scripts I would like your feedback on the one for wordpress . you can check it out here: http://tinyurl.com/49tza4a . You just enter the information in the form and hit submit. I want to finalize the code before I can add more scripts.

Also I will be adding premium scripts which can be licensed and auto installed from the site. This will take more time to implement though.

    Thanks,

This is very similar to aefer. Providing the aefer came from the same company as softaculous.

Do you save the passwords into database?

Passwords are not stored for security reasons and the fact that people want to install to different folders.

Can you double check your ftp info ? you just enter hostname for ftp host info.

I just checked Aefer and it looks very similar to what I am doing , I am not sure if I should continue with this project now. Atleast I only spent $9 so far.
Only new feature I can add is a licensing feature, where script developers can add their script to the site and have it licensed on our license server.
