Suggestion Please PM all members regarding "How to search effectively"...

    Please PM all members to guide them how to search effectively, and also notify them about the recent change of thread listing method in BST section. Most of the people are not aware of it, yet.

    Or at least, PM them this link: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1441011 and tell them that it's very important to read for those who take part in BST section.

    That depends on whom you count as active :) I know about that thread, BTW.

    My first client (and an old member) was surprised to know this change, and he came to know that only after we had a chat.

    May be you have noticed that some members think that activity in BST is decreased, as they see a few replies in threads, compared to those Hot threads. Obviously, they don't know about this change.

    PMing all members about this change won't hurt anyone...

    There is no point in mass-PMing a huge userbase like DP's. There is a large minority who don't visit, and not everyone will read it.

    Those who visit BST section will read it. Why to care about others?

    BTW, I don't know if that's real hard work, forgive me if there's some money/hard work involved in this...

    I agree with the OP a PM would be good as even I was confused at first (and I consider myself active :p).

    And if you mail all members, members who actually left DP or forgot about it will come back I guess.

    The new changes at DP have been quite 'radical' as discussed in the other thread, so a PM would be good.

    Is that a serious question? This is not a BST forum. BST was stared solely to get those threads out of the other areas, not the other way around. BST is where the spammers, scammers, etc. hang out.

    The threads there are typically the pointless duplicate content threads...
