Hello, I will provide a picture which will explain it all: As you can see, its frustrating. I have 90 or so links in my sitemap but only 53 are indexed. What is wrong with this? I have tried resubmitting different types of urls so many times. Always the same outcome. My new blog posts are not getting indexed. I am not even doing any type of bad SEO. Do you think my rss feeds are messed up? Can someone please please help me? Thanks
This is perfectly normal and is the same for most sites. To get more pages indexed you will want to build backlinks to the individual pages. Inner linking your pages together also helps.
Ok i understand. My pages are linked with each pretty well. i try to link at least another page from a new page. As far as backlinks for pages, so your saying I should pick a page at random and get links for that instead of my home page? that will fix my issues? should i use the same anchor text or a different one for my page? can you care to explain why I need to get links for my other pages instead of homepage to fix this problem?
Each time google crawls your site, it won't crawl your whole site, because it is very busy so it is normal case that not all your pages are indexed. But the amount of the indexed pages will keep increasing as time pass. The most effective way to let those pages be indexed quicker is to build back links for those particular pages. Bookmarking is an effective way. I used to use digg.com. You can bookmark your pages in as many book marking sites as possible.
it is normal you are lucky your 53 pages are indexed out of 90, it will take time to index your all the pages
The problem is that your site is not important enough to Google to index all your pages. Get more links to anywhere on your site. Bompa
Out of curiosity how come you have 3 different feeds for one blogger/blogspot site listed here. Does having 3 of them do something that just 1 does not?
